The 16 originals which comprise the fourth full length CD release by Laika & The Cosmonauts constitute their finest work to date (and their previous three are no less worthy). This Finnish traditional instrumental ensemble plays surf music, and is by turns romantically cinematic and humorously bombastic (something it takes smarts and chops to pull off as perfectly as they do).

Check out "Look! No Head!" which is the great missing surf/monster movie song that nobody knew how to write 40 years ago. Laika & The Cosmonauts demonstrate once more that surf music didn't begin and end back when cars had fins and astronauts drank Tang.
