One can't help wondering how four teenagers singing classic Abba songs could possibly be the rage among Y2K kids, but thanks to THE ABBA GENERATION, it most definitely is. With modern-sounding updates of classic songs like "Mama Mia," "Dancing Queen" and "Take A Chance On Me," THE ABBA GENERATION is not only an interesting transformation and revitalization of songs that were popular over 25 years earlier, it's a danceable, club-ready pop explosion. The four teenagers, Marie Sereneholt, Sara Lumholdt, Dhani Lennevald, and Amit Paul are spirited, talented singers, taking on material that other performers couldn't touch. Their vocal performances are impressive for such young artists. Both longtime Abba fans and newcomers to the songs will have fun with this enjoyable trip through classic material given a modern spin.
