Nick Cave and his Bad Seeds have been legends so long it is easy to forget there's a reason for it. Despite the 2004 departure of Bad Seed stalwart Blixa Bargeld, Cave turned in his best album in years--ABATTOIR BLUES--and this two-CD/two-DVD package finds him taking this inspired set on the road with periodic dips into the band's legendary back catalog. The DVD footage centers on two concerts: one at the Brixton Academy in London on November 11th, 2004, and one from an earlier tour at the Hammersmith Apollo from June 7th, 2003, that features a few songs from NOCTURAMA. There are also promotional videos and backstage tidbits that make this set a must-own for Nick Cave fans.
