Among a growing movement of bands embracing an anything-goes attitude toward heavy music, A Static Lullaby uses percolating synths and other dancefloor dramatics as melodic bridges between bursts of explosive guitar and guttural vocals. The result can be heard on this assured self-titled full-length--the band's Fearless debut and third overall--which features an unholy marriage of emo, metal, and electropop.
