Recording information: 1989 - 2005.

The French DJ Miss Kittin's artfully assembled two-disc set of midtempo dance starts as a more-or-less conventional club mix, with contributions from Squarepusher, Mike Ink (whose "Paroles" is a particular highlight) and Princess Superstar that provide entertainment for both body and mind. The second, less dance-oriented CD is a collection of impeccably chosen electronica that includes the beautiful "Easy Lee," Le Car's 1980s-sounding "Aluminum Rectangles," and Donato Dozzy and Brando Lupi's ambient, sharply contoured "Metal Slave."
