Recorded at various stops on its 2004-'05 world tour in support of VOL. 3: (THE SUBLIMINAL VERSES), this two-disc set presents Slipknot in all of its live fury. The masked Des Moines, Iowa extreme-metal ensemble charges through twenty-four tracks, drawing liberally from each of its three gut-wrenching, guitar-heavy studio albums. The group remains faithful to the brutal sound it achieves on record, and in staying true to metal-concert tradition, they even include an extended drum solo.

Album Description

The masked, nine-man nu-metal machine unfetters its first live album. Slipknot's live show has always been highly praised and this sprawling 2CD set, recorded at various dates on their 2004-05 world tour, documents the band's vicious, confrontational music in its rawest form, with a superb live mix capturing every nuance of their dense, multi-faceted sound. Includes material from all three of their Roadrunner albums as well as two rare tracks.
