Product note

The rather confusingly titled 8+8 is effectively a reissue of the Pat Travers Band's milestone 1979 live album GO FOR WHAT YOU KNOW plus a brace of his best studio cuts from his 1977-'80 career peak. The crowd-pleasing blues-rocker is at his best in a concert setting, interacting with the crowd and feeding off their energy as he churns out flashy, larger-than-life guitar solos, but studio cuts like his signature song "Snortin' Whiskey" help to complete the picture.
