Cedric Burnside, former drummer for his late grandfather, blues great R.L. Burnside, carries on the latter's musical legacy with guitar-playing Mississippi cohort Lightnin' Malcolm on 2 MAN WRECKING CREW. The duo's sparse-but-feisty guitar/drums attack is strongly reminiscent of the elder Burnside's classic Mississippi hill country sound, but adds just a hint of rock and soul sensibility while remaining unimpeachably raw and undoubtedly "authentic."
