Title Note

Darker My Love may hail from Los Angeles, but their influences are strictly from across the pond. Strains of the Beatles, the Stone Roses, Jesus and Mary Chain, Oasis, and My Bloody Valentine float through 2, coalescing in a fuzzed-out, psychedelic, harmony-laden opus. Yet 2 is saved from accusations of mere derivation by the fine, melodically keen songwriting of Tim Presley and Rob Barbato. Tunes like "Two Ways Out" and "Talking Words" (among others) will keep listeners coming back for more, and make 2 an experience greater than the sum of its influences.
